Dear Lakeshore family and friends of the less fortunate—

As we celebrate our thirtieth year of ministry as a church, we also enter our fifteenth year of Making Waves—our annual opportunity to make an extraordinary impact together. Making Waves was created for the people of Lakeshore, along with friends and partners beyond our church, to come alongside us in meeting both the physical and spiritual needs of people locally and globally through a variety of incredible projects.

It’s humbling to think that over these fifteen years, we’ve been able to give away nearly $940,000 through Making Waves alone—and over $1.5 million in total when we include what’s given through our General Budget. That’s all thanks to God’s faithfulness and to the generosity of people like you who have embraced this eternally important mission each year.

This year, we are once again giving away the largest amount in our history to meet these needs. The reason is simple: people matter to God, so they should matter to us. Every dollar, every prayer, every act of service is another way to show the love of Jesus in real, tangible ways.

Sue and I are making a sacrificial commitment again to Making Waves 2026 because we want as many people as possible to encounter His love. We invite you to join us—whether it’s your first time or your fifteenth. Explore the projects in this campaign, engage with the resources we’ve prepared, and prayerfully consider how you can be part of fulfilling the Great Commission.

Together, we can impact people for eternity.
