Love Week is a church-wide project where we demonstrate the love of Jesus to people in our community through various service projects. Leading a project offers a chance to build meaningful connections while serving together- it's more than community service, it's our FAITH IN ACTION.
General volunteer signups open in mid-July. Check back then, or consider stepping up to lead a project this year!

What is Love Week?

In 2017 we asked the question, "If Lakeshore shut its doors, would anyone in our community notice?" Since then, hundreds of volunteers have come together each year to be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving in projects all over the greater Rochester area.
From serving food to the homeless, cleaning up trash at a park, bringing food to first responders, and so much more, Love Week service projects are a way for us to remind our community that we're here for them, we love them, and most importantly, Jesus loves them! It's more than community service — it's our faith in action!
