Volunteer Sign-Ups Are Open!

🗓️ Save the Date!  Love Week starts August 1-8 2026

What is Love Week?

faith in

action 🫶

In 2017 we asked the question, "If Lakeshore shut its doors, would anyone in our community notice?" Since then, hundreds of volunteers have come together each year to be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving in projects all over the greater Rochester area.

From serving food to the homeless, cleaning up trash at a park, bringing food to first responders, and so much more, Love Week service projects are a way for us to remind our community that we're here for them, we love them, and most importantly, Jesus loves them! It's more than community service — it's our faith in action!

Browse through the open projects here to find one you want to join. Some projects might be full; we can help you find a different project with openings to guarantee yourself a spot!

Select a project to learn more about it and to sign up. If you need a t-shirt, you can order one when you register.

Need help? The Love Week team will be on hand in the atrium every Sunday in July. Just look for someone in a bright green t-shirt and they'll get you taken care of!

2026 Project Highlight 🙌

HYGIENE &

FOOD DRIVE

This year, Lakeshore is collecting very specific food and hygiene items for our missions partners: Mission Share, Rochester Family Mission, and Gerhardt Neighborhood Outreach Center. Check out the list to see how you can help fill the shelves of our partners and show Jesus' love to our community! Collection is happening 8/2-8/9 at Lakeshore Community Church. 💚
