Too Busy Not To Pray

Defrosting Communication, part 5 of 7
Prayer is a notoriously difficult discipline for followers of Christ. It is difficult to slow down and spend time with God in prayer when it seems we have so many things that we have to get accomplished in our day. As a result many people say that they are too busy to pray. The truth of the matter is that we are all too busy not to pray. Our business, the demands of life, and the call of God to get us to relate to Him all should lead us to having a prayer life that is meaningful and significant. Using the Lord’s Prayer as a paradigm we will discuss principles that will help us to pray and point us in a direction that gets us to spend more time with God in conversation.

“When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered only by repeating their words again and again.”

1) Our longing for ___INTENSE INTIMACY___ is fulfilled.

Moving Toward Prayerfulness
