He Forgives Failures
iGod: His Character Playlist, part 7 of 10
God is a God of grace, mercy and forgiveness. But He is also a God of wrath. How does God’s grace, mercy, forgiveness and wrath work together? We will examine how wrath is God’s last resort to our sin but that He longs to extend His grace, mercy and forgiveness toward us when we sin. Grace is getting what we don’t deserve from God while mercy is not getting what we do deserve from God. Forgiveness is a process where by we achieve both. We will talk about how to experience the grace, mercy and forgiveness of God in our lives so that we can move beyond our past and live with hope and optimism for the future.
“The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him.” (Daniel 9:9, NIV)
