He’s Got The Power
iGod: His Character Playlist, part 3 of 10
One of the most obvious attributes of God is that He is omnipotent or all powerful. Anyone who has been to Niagara Falls knows the power of flowing water. Anyone who has been to the Grand Canyon knows the power of nature. Anyone who has been to a nuclear plant knows the power of atoms. But none of this compares to the power of God. He has not only all the power, but He is the power behind everything that exists. God doesn’t have power simply to flaunt it. He uses His power to impact the lives of other people. As we examine God’s power we will see how he has the power to change our lives and help us become the people He wants us to become.
“I pray also the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know…his incomparably great power for us who believe.” (Ephesians 1:18-19, NIV)
