He Loves Me, He Loves Me Lots

iGod: His Character Playlist, part 2 of 10
Of all of God’s attributes, His most supreme is that of love. The bible teaches that God is love, not that God is loving, or simply the perfect expresser love. And because God is love we can see all the ways in which he expresses love because it comes straight from who He is. We will examine (as much as possible) the depths of God’s love and how we can learn to let God’s love impact the way we love and live our everyday lives.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—
and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God”_ (Ephesians 2:4-8)

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” (1 John 4:7-12)

The greatest expression of love in human history happened on Calvary. GOD IS LOVE!
