A look at Roman Catholicism
When you compare the teachings of Roman Catholicism with the Bible, you’ll find a lot of things in common, such as the Trinity, God’s holiness, man’s sinfulness, the Apostle’s Creed, and the Lord’s Prayer. But you’ll also find that there are significant, major differences, such as praying to the saints and the Virgin Mary, issues around the priesthood, purgatory, and salvation by RC sacraments (faith and works).
This series will look at the origins of Roman Catholicism and explain where the beliefs of Roman Catholicism are consistent with those of historic, biblical Christianity, and where there are differences that will impact people eternally and are thus of major importance. This series will help you reach your own informed decisions on these and other important topics.
