After living and working in Florida and Texas for eight years as an Electrical Engineer, I moved back to Rochester in 1994 and started Lakeshore in 1995 with just four people who all have the same last name! They are my fantastic wife Sue, son David and daughter Alisha. While we began the church with no members, no meeting place, no money, and precious little ministry experience, God has been gracious in allowing me to Pastor a great,
growing group of people here at Lakeshore who care
deeply about God and others. It’s been a great ride
of faith!   (more …)

Associate Pastor of Administration and Pastoral Care

In 1994, God gave me a big wake-up call that led me on a search to re-establish our relationship. Through a series of events, I met Pastor Vince in a karate locker room and about two month later — August 1997 — he invited me to Lakeshore (at the Marriott). My wife and I accepted his invitation.   (more …)

Music and Programming Pastor

I am a native Lawn-Guy-Lander (Long Islander) who moved to Rochester, New York in 1994, approximately one year after accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I was unsure why I was moving to Rochester, other than for the job I had at the time, but looking back I can clearly see the hand of God preparing me step-by-step for the work waiting for me at LCC.   (more …)

Cory Hunneyman —
Student Ministry Pastor

I grew up near Syracuse, NY and throughout middle school and high school was actively involved in the youth ministry of my home church, watching God use it to play an enormous role in my spiritual formation. As a junior in high school I began to think about being an athletic trainer for the Philadelphia Eagles (the guy that runs out on the field when someone gets injured, trying not
to trip).   (more …)

Jill Freese —
Children’s Ministries Director

Jill Freese

My husband, David, and I began attending Lakeshore in September, 2000. I became involved in the Friend Ship Company (LCC’s children’s ministry) and am now thrilled to serve as the Children’s Ministry Director. Up until the time I became a stay-at-home mom for our sons, Andrew and Daniel, I was a special education teacher.    (more …)

Sue DiPaola —
Spiritual Care Associate Director

I am a Rochester native and the Spiritual Care Associate Director at Lakeshore. I am energized by encouraging others, music, swimming and I am a life-long learner. I utilize my time by being the Promotional Strategist for the Leadership Summit which LCC hosts via satellite every August; I also teach in the Captain’s classes (3rd-5th grade) quarterly (which keeps me on my toes), and assisting with the Pre-marriage classes.   (more …)

Stephanie Supernault —
Executive Church Secretary

What a great feeling it is to come home. Being a native Rochestarian, I lived in the great state of Texas for many years. In 2001 I returned to Rochester and in 2003 I made Lakeshore my church home. How exciting it was to find a place where not only the Lord welcomes you with open arms, but so do the people who also call this place their home.   (more …)

Kathy Shepanski —
Administrative Assistant to the Senior Pastor

As Pastor Vince’s Administrative Assistant, I assist Pastor Vince in providing quality leadership, Christian education and pastoral care to the LCC congregation and staff, as well as his peers through effective and accurate communication, materials. In other words I help Pastor Vince with the day to day task of equipping the leadership at Lakeshore with the right tools to be effective in their ministries.   (more …)

As Associate Church secretary, I can say that the best part of my job is always changing! You would think that a church secretary has a boring job, but nothing could be further from the truth. My varied responsibilities demand a number of skills and keep the hours going by quickly. I have been at Lakeshore since summer of 2002, joined the staff in January of 2003, and have been a church secretary (for a total of) 17 years.    (more …)

I was born in Williamsport, PA and moved to Rochester when I was four years old. My wife, Marilyn and I were high school sweethearts and were married a few years after graduation. We then moved to Hill Air Force Base, Utah where we spent the next three and half years.   (more …)
