THAT THE CITY MIGHT SEE JESUS
Since 1985 students and adults from nearly 60 churches in our community have volunteered at Flower City Work Camp delivering more than 30,000 hours of service by improving homes, mentoring youth at basketball and soccer camps and connecting with younger children in neighborhood Sidewalk Clubs - all to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to some of the neediest areas in Rochester.
This local missions trip takes place June 28-July 2, 2021 and is a life changing experience for the adults and students who participate. Will you partner with us for Flower City Work Camp 2021?
Flower City Work Camp serves through:
- Home repairs, including painting, flooring, simple construction, cleaning, yard work, and repairing or replacing ceilings, windows and doors.
- Sidewalk clubs, at which children play games, sing songs, make crafts, eat snacks and, most importantly, hear the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Basketball camps where children and teens learn basketball skills, Bible verses and how much God loves them.
- Prayer walks, during which, campers bring the needs of our city before God.
THIS YEAR THERE WILL BE NO OVERNIGHT PORTION OF CAMP.

3 WAYS TO PARTNER WITH US
VOLUNTEER TO PREP OR DELIVER FOOD
We are looking for several volunteers to prepare lunches and deliver them to the worksites in the City of Rochester so our adults and students have a healthy lunch each day. Click the button below to volunteer.
DONATE FOOD ITEMS
Lakeshore is providing lunch for 3 days to 3 worksites that will have approximately 60 adults and students in total. We are looking for specific food items to be donated in order to provide lunch for these workers. Collection will begin Sunday March 22 at the Flower City Work Camp table next to the Next Steps area. Click the button below to view or download the list of food items we need.
MAKE A FINANCIAL DONATION
Many of the food items need to be purchased fresh the day we are serving them so we are looking for donations to help us offset the cost. Click the button below to make a donation on a credit or debit card, or stop by the FCWC tables in the Atrium to make a donation by cash or check.
