The Lead Team

The Lead Team at Lakeshore Community Church consists of teams headed up by both leaders and managers who oversee key ministries needed in the church. Each of these teams is listed below along with their mission statement and service opportunities so that you can get “plugged in” on a team that matches both your gifts and passion areas.

The mission of the Lead Team is, “to equip, empower and encourage servant-leaders in ministry excellence.”

Provide training and tactical support for ministry leaders/managers
Assist with general and corporate training
Work in cooperation with overseers

Care Network

Joining together to best serve the needs of the people who call LCC home, the Care Network is a developing structure within Lakeshore whose intent is to address the needs of those in the church.

First Response Team

“To provide, in accordance with the New York State Good Samaritan laws, emergency medical care in life-threatening situations for our Lakeshore faimly and guests.”

Service Opportunities:

Serving at the first response table during services
Provide assistance with crowd control during an emergency.
Contacting family members, if needed.
Designated person to Call 911
We will offer opportunities to work toward certifications for all first response team members.

Children’s Ministry

The Children’s Ministry guides our children towards God through worshipping, learning and growing together.

Friend Ship Company (Sunday mornings)

· Nursery: “Crow’s Nest”

· 1 & 2 year olds: “First & Second Mates”

· 3 - 5 year olds: “Skippers”

· K - 2nd graders: “Ship Mates”

· 3rd - 5th graders: “Captains”

Global Impact Team

What we do:

Provide support and information about the missionaries and organizations supported by LCC
Support the local community by prayer, preparing and serving meals, and various events
Serve our missionaries through prayer and financial support

Ripples Resources

“Get The Message!”

LCC Sunday and Common Ground (midweek) messages are recorded and available on CD
Each message is available after Sunday service every week
You can get a complete message series packaged in a CD notebook
You never have to miss a service message because you can just place an order to be picked up the following week
You can pick up a catalog of all previous messages to choose from
Materials are available for the various classes provided during the year

Joining Ripples is a great way to meet and get to know others at LCC! We can use your help and we will train you.

Scripture & Setup Team

“Creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. People matter to God, and they matter to us.”

We help people connect to the theme of the service, inform them of upcoming events and inspire them to get involved.

Service opportunities:

Welcome people to the service and make weekly announcements from the stage.
Read the scripture verse(s) that the service focuses on.
“Set-up” or introduce the drama/video

Spotlight Drama Team

“To connect with the audience with an atmosphere and message in a memorable fashion. Each player shall be confident in his or her role and responsibility.”
