At Lakeshore, we think that people have two basic desires in life: a need to belong and to know that their life has significance. New Horizons seminars at Lakeshore are born out of an understanding of these two human desires. These seminars will help you learn how you can belong to a loving family, how to have a close relationship with God through His son Jesus and how to become all you and God want you to be through our step by step (or, "base by base") growth process.

NH 101: Discovering Lakeshore
"You are members of God's very own family, and you belong in God's household with every other Christian." (Ephesians 2:19 LB)
The purpose of this course is to help you become a fully functioning and fulfilled partner within the Lakeshore family.

NH201: Discovering personal & spiritual maturity
"Take the time and trouble to keep yourself spiritually fit." (1 Timothy 4:7 JB)
The purpose of this course is to help you develop the skills and habits necessary for personal and spiritual growth.
Prerequisite: NH101
You will discover:
- How to establish a personal time with God
- How to pray effectively
- How to become a giving person
- How to divelop close Christian friends
You will receive:

NH301: Discovering a life of lasting impact

The purpose of this course is to help you discover your own unique spiritual gifts and personal style so you can live a life of lasting impact.
Prerequisite: NH201, LCC membership
You will discover:
- How to fulfill God's plan to make a lasting impact with your life
- Your own unique gifts, impact style and talents
- How to put passion to work in specific areas
- Places at Lakeshore where you can make a difference
You will receive:
- An Impact Commitment Card

NH401: Discovering life's ultimate mission
"But I reckon my life to be worth nothing to me, in order that I may complete my mission, which is to declare the Good News." (Acts 20:24 TEV)
The purpose of this course is to help fulfill your life mission everywhere you can by learning ways to share your faith.
Prerequisite: NH301, LCC membership
You will discover:
- Your role in supporting world missions at LCC
- Your role in supporting church planting at LCC
- Your unique personal style of evangelism
- How to share your faith compellingly
You will receive:
- A Missions Commitment Card
