The 6 Big Questions About Forgiveness

I) FORGIVE WHO? __THE OFFENDING PERSON__.

“When they came to the place called’The Skull,’ they nailed Jesus to a cross there, and the two criminals, one on his right and one on his left. Jesus said, ‘Forgive them, Father! They don’t know what they are doing.’”

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the just and unjust, and sends rain on the righteous and unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get?”

(Matthew 18:21-22, TEV)

“…forgive your brother from your heart.”
(Matthew 18:35b, NIV)

* True forgiveness isn’t conditional but _UNCONDITIONAL_.
