Attempting to describe the indescribable gift of Jesus

1st Try. the gift of leaving heaven’s glory for us.

“ You know how full of love and kindness our Lord Jesus Christ was. Though he was very rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by His poverty He could make you rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9, NLT)

2nd Try. the gift of enduring the world’s sin in us.

“You stubborn, faithless people! How long must I be with you until you believe? How long must I put up with you?” (Matthew 17:17, NLT)

3rd Try. the gift of giving His precious life for us.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16, NLT)

“ I pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of His power for us who believe Him.” (Ephesians 1:19a, NLT)
