Q: What is online giving?
Our online giving program is a convenient way for you to make a contribution to the church. If you are unable to get to the church, forgot your offering or simply like the convenience of paying online, this service is for you.

Q: What are reoccurring donations?
This is similar to a subscription. You can choose how often you want an automatic payment to be made— weekly, every two weeks, or monthly. You can choose to pay with a Bank Account, Credit Card or Debit Card.

Q: Can I post a reoccurring donation to more than one designation?
Yes you can. If your giving involves both “General Giving/Tithes” and “Home Improvements building fund giving”, ensure that the breakdown of each category of giving matches your commitment amount. For example, if you give every-other-week to “General Giving/Tithes” to correspond to the receipt of your paycheck but you made a monthly donation to “Home Improvements”, be sure to adjust your “Home Improvements” amount accordingly (from 12x/year to 26x/year).

You also can enter two reoccurring donations, each with their respective designation and time/frequency to post your donation.

Q: Is online giving secure?
Yes. The service that helps us (SecureGive) use SSL technology to keep your information safe. In addition, when you donate online, Lakeshore won’t receive sensitive financial information like your credit card or debit card account numbers.

Q: How can I keep a record of the amount I have contributed?
A receipt will be sent to you via email from SecureGive. Lakeshore will continue to provide you with during-the-year and annual giving statements for your tax records.

Q: How do I participate in the weekly offering if I give online?
If you wish, you can write “I’m giving online” on a piece of paper or print out your receipt and place it in the offering bag as it goes around, but it is not necessary.

Q: Is there any charge to me from my bank to give online?
No. You select the dollar amount for your gift. That is the dollar amount that will be charged to your account. The cost to Lakeshore is free for online banking and increases with Credit Card giving and Debit Card giving.
