Breaking Ground on the LC2 Addition!
After nearly four years of designing and planning, construction of the Lakeshore Community Church Center (LC2) begins this Spring! To kick things off, we will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at 1pm after the second service. Everyone is invited to celebrate this exciting event in our church history. We will be joined by town, county and state dignitaries.
The ceremony will feature usual activities associated with groundbreaking like shoveling the first dirt on the construction site. But it will also feature some creative elements that will make this a vital event for everyone who calls Lakeshore home, children included.
The construction process will take about six months with the Grand Opening tentatively set for the beginning of October 2009.
If you’d like to see what the floor plans look like for the LC2, be sure to click on the “Campaign Brochure” link near the bottom of the page. For a 3-D tour of the facility, click on the “Virtual Tour Of The LC2” link in the blue “FTW” area.
As construction progresses, check back for updates every 2-3 weeks to keep you posted on where we are in the process and how you can help with the latest volunteer needs. We’ll also include pictures as the construction progresses.
The reason we are able to build this addition is because of the greatness of God and the generosity of the people of Lakeshore. Thanks to those of you who have pledged to give toward the “Finishing The Work” campaign. Your faithfulness in giving is essential.
If you’re interested in finding out more about how to get involved, please contact us for a campaign packet including a free copy of the book, “The Treasure Principle” by Randy Alcorn.
Let’s finish the work together… for our children, our community, our church, and the great commission.
See you on April 19,
Let’s finish the work together… for our children, our community, our church, and the great commission.

Warmly,
Pastor Vince
